Nikko Pass: Self-Guided Exploration Using World Heritage Area Pass
Elige tu experiencia
The Nikko Pass covers unlimited travel on buses and trains within the Nikko World Heritage Area, giving access to one of Japan's most concentrated clusters of Edo-period shrines, mausoleums, and forested mountain scenery roughly two hours north of Tokyo. The area was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999 and includes the Toshogu Shrine complex, the Futarasan Shrine, and the Rinnoji Temple.
Holders travel at their own pace between the main heritage sites, the Kegon Falls, and Lake Chuzenji, without purchasing individual transport tickets at each stop. The pass is typically valid for two or four days and covers the Tobu railway lines and designated bus routes within the zone. Entry fees to individual shrines and buildings are separate and paid on site.
